Apply to Participate in Pig Island NYC
Pig Island NYC is a curated event that gives the best chefs and restaurants in the industry a place to pull out all the stops. Join us for this year’s Pig Island NYC on September 12, 2026, at Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Garden, Staten Island, NY.
We will select approximately 20 rising-star and award-winning participants to prepare their best takes on any cut of pork or whole hogs. Participants will serve festival attendees and a panel of expert judges to be evaluated on a number of factors, including flavor, presentation, and creativity. Grand Prize Winners receive awards and titles, including Best in Show and Best Whole Hog. We encourage and celebrate all types and styles of cooking and dishes, from traditional BBQ to flavors from around the globe.
Selection to participate in Pig Island NYC is by invitation only. Limited spots will be filled following application review.
